A Miami fire rescue crew moved a steel container into a rescue basket to move an injured construction worker from the 39th floor of a building.
The 23-year-old man was working on the 48th floor at the Newport Beachside Resort on Collins Avenue when he fell about 20 feet.
The man had a safety line, but firefighters said it apparently did not work. Due to the height involved, firefighters turned a trash bin into a rescue basket to bring him down.
The man suffered a head injury and was taken by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Rescuers said the man was alert when he was transported. His condition is not known.
