Construction Worker Falls In Ditch, Injures Leg

A construction worker slipped and fell about 12 feet into a ditch at the Panther Run Elementary School work site just south of Wellington around 1:40 p.m., according to Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue Capt. Don DeLucia.
The man, who works for the contractor C.R. Klewin, was not able to get out because he injured his leg, DeLucia said. Rescuers lowered a basket and pulled the man out about 20 minutes after he fell in. He was treated at a hospital for minor injuries, DeLucia said. His name was not released.
