Truck Slams Into Bus Stop After Hit & Run

Miami Police are looking into a hit and run accident that left three people hurt.

Authorities say that the driver of a GMC Jimmy SUV, Arelis Paulino, was heading east on Southwest 1st Street at 8th Avenue when she was broadsided by a newer model red pickup truck, which was heading northbound.

Ms. Paulino lost control and drove into a bus stop, injuring three people.

Two of those injured people were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The red pickup, which took off after the accident, has extensive front end damage.
