Police Arrest Man Wanted For Holding Family Hostage

A man who held an Orange County family hostage is now in custody.

Jay Layman, 37, was wanted for breaking into the home of his former hairdresser, where he held her three children hostage for nearly an hour.

Layman had been arrested before for stalking.

Deputies said Layman was arrested early Wednesday morning in Pinellas County on another charge for DUI.

He is now in the Orange County jail.
