One Killed In Two-car Accident

One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-car accident shortly before 6 p.m. today, December 12, in Warrington, fire officials said.

The head-on collision, which involved two sport utility vehicles and three people, occurred on Gulf Beach Highway near the intersection of Sunset Avenue and Elite Road.

The injured person was transported to Baptist Hospital via LifeFlight and another man involved in the accident was walking around, complaining of neck pain, said Lieutenant Matt Lopez of the Warrington Volunteer Fire Department.
