A 21-year-old Glenwood Heights resident was killed in a traffic accident early this morning, September 23, in Miami at the intersection of NW 46th Street and 27th Avenue, the police said.
According to police report, John Henry Mills, of 1610 NW 59th Street, was driving 2005 Ford Taurus east on NW 46th Street on Friday around 12:12 a.m., when his car collided with a Chevy Cobalt that was traveling north on 27th Avenue.
Police said that the Chevy hit the right passenger side of John Mills' Ford.
John Mills died at the scene of accident, and a passenger in his car was critically injured and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the Chevy, Antonio Zeo-Aizza, 19, of 4045 SW 107 Place, was also treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Miami-Dade Police spokeswoman Mary Walters said that One of the two drivers ran a stoplight.
The incident is under investigation, but no charges have been filed at this time.
