A Cape Coral teenager was in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning September 19.
Cape Carol police continued trying to find a suspect, and they released a description of the light-blue, four-door passenger car involved in the accident.
According to the police report, Casey Minervini, 14, when was walking the crosswalk at Santa Barbara Boulevard and Southeast 21st Street, was struck by the car.
Eyewitnesses say that a northbound light-blue, four-door passenger car ran a red light at about 6:30 a.m. and hit Minervini.
Casey Minervini was seriously injured and taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
Police don't have a description of the driver.
